Planning Tips

  1. There are many campgrounds on or near this route and many others nearby. For additional options, see the Campgrounds Map.

  2. Before or after completing the Mighty 5 Route, consider checking out the Mojave Desert, Great Basin or Western Colorado.

  3. Hurricane-Saint George at the southern end or Moab at the northern end are the best options for services and entertainment, but basic services are available at multiple points along the way.

Highlights

A 375 mile route can connect visitors with all five of Utah’s breathtaking national parks. Known as the Mighty 5, these parks are all incredible, must-see destinations.

One should not attempt this as a one-day drive or risk missing all there is to see. With careful planning, this can be a week-long trip, but even that will be rushed. Try to give it as much time as you can allot. Each of these parks can take days to explore.
