Planning Tips
There are three provincial parks not far from Regina. I stayed at the municipal campground in Lumsden, which was convenient and within walking distance of the Lumsden business district.
Nearby destinations include Lake Diefenbaker and Grasslands National Park.
Regina will be able to satisfy all service and entertainment needs.
Regina is a prefect stop along the way or can be a long-weekend destination.
Highlights
As the capital city of Saskatchewan, Regina is a small, but interesting city. It is, of course, home to all of the provincial museums and government buildings, which are great stops. It also has numerous large city parks, many fun restaurants and shopping districts.
The city is also a stop along the Trans-Canada Highway and other major provincial highways. So it is a prefect stop along the way to other destinations.
Regina is certainly investing a few days to explore or even a short stay to catch your breath on a longer journey.
