Planning Tips
Note that campground choices exist entirely in the park. There is one in each unit. Due to the remote nature of the park, those options make sense.
Val Marie is the closest town and services there are somewhat limited. Be prepared and shop before you arrive.
The two blocks are far enough apart that it might make sense to camp in each unit, if you are intent on exploring both.

Highlights
This park is just north of the American state of Montana and rests on the international border. The 350 square miles were set aside to preserve a shortgrass prairie ecosystem.
