Planning Tips

  1. Campgrounds away from the coast are slightly less expensive. There are Forest Service campgrounds beginning at the southern edge of the above map, which are also less costly. See the main campground map for additional options.

  2. If you are eligible to use military campgrounds, there is a national guard campground south of Warrenton. See the military campgrounds map for more information.

  3. Portland is the largest obvious metropolitan area, but smaller towns like Astoria will offer most service and entertainment needs.
