Planning Tips

  1. There are just three provincial parks in or near Prince Edward County. Reservations are advised.

  2. There are numerous private campgrounds, if you prefer.

  3. There were so many wineries that I created a separate tab to prevent the POI from being too busy.

  4. Kingston is the nearest city that will offer the widest variety of services and entertainment. Picton is the largest urban center in the county and will satisfy most basic needs.

Highlights

Prince Edward County is one of those idyllic places that most people are unaware of and may confuse with Prince Edward Island. Located in eastern Ontario, the county occupies and island in Lake Ontario, that hugs the mainland.
