Prince Edward County

Prince Edward County is one of those idyllic places that most people are unaware of and may confuse with Prince Edward Island. Located in eastern Ontario, the county occupies and island in Lake Ontario, that hugs the mainland.

The county is a place of bird sanctuaries, small towns and villages and wine. The island is a wine region in its own right and is one of the primary draws for tourism. Of course the Lake Ontario shoreline is another attraction offering a few beaches, lighthouses and views of the lake.

Prince Edward County is definitely a place to slow down, relax and explore.
