If you have access to military campgrounds, Wright Patterson Air Force Base has a very nice family campground.
Dayton is the largest municipality and it will have all the services and entertainment options you may require.

Unless you are from the area, this part of Ohio was probably not on your radar. Nevertheless, you can see from the map that it is filled with historic and cultural sites.
