Rochester is a city of moderate size with more to offer than its population might suggest. This important port city and commercial hub has cultivated a thriving, high-quality arts and entertainment industry.

Of course, Lake Ontario is also adds recreational opportunities along with its coastal beauty. Its numerous lighthouses, beaches and piers are all worthy of exploration.

The city is also adjacent to other destinations that can be included in this visit. The Finger Lakes Region is just south of the city and the Niagara Escarpment is to the west. A visit can easily be combined with one of these.
