Sedona—Arizona
Sedona is a beautiful little resort town known for its shopping districts, restaurants, spas and health retreats. The town is also quite famous for the red-rock mountains that supply its backdrop. The surrounding Coconino National Forest ranges from red rock desert to hardwood forest and supplies real diversity to this destination.

Tuzigoot National Monument
Tuzigoot National Monument preserves a large pueblo ruin which appeared to serve some public function. The monument was established in 1939 and is administered by the National Park Service.

Red Rock Scenic Byway
The drive between Interstate 17 and Sedona takes visitors through 7.5 miles of the iron-rich red rocks that are emblematic of the region.
Oak Creek Canyon Scenic Byway
This section of State Route 89A winds through a northern section of the Coconino National Forest and a steep canyon forested with deciduous and coniferous trees that are very different from the southern sections of the Coconino.
