Highlights
Kluane National Park and Reserve was established to protect this vast high-alpine, forest and tundra ecosystems. Vast glaciers, rivers, glacial lakes, abundant wildlife and breathtaking mountain panoramas are just a few things the park has to offer. Kluane has some of the continent’s highest peaks.
Nearby Kathleen Lake, along with the glacier-fed Alsek and Tatshenshini Heritage Rivers are within the park boundaries. These provide opportunities for paddling, boating and fishing.
Kluane is managed jointly by Parks Canada along with the Champagne, Aishihik and Kluane First Nations.
