Highlights

This 107-mile-long fresh water lake extends from Quebec in the north and runs along the Vermont-New York Border. It is bordered on the east by the northern Green Mountains of Vermont. With the exception of Burlington, the lakefront is largely undeveloped. The area offers diverse opportunities like biking or hiking along the lake and in the nearby mountains. Paddling and exploring the coastline by boat are possible, or one can enjoy the arts and entertainment options in Burlington.
