  2. If you are inclined, Antietam and Monocacy Battlefields are not far across the Maryland border.

  3. There are far more campground options than listed on the map above. See the main interactive map for additional options.

  4. There are many major metropolitan areas to choose from for services and entertainment. Richmond and Fredericksburg are good options without heading into the traffic around DC.
