Highlights

The Hill Country in South-Central Texas is is a combination of rural landscape and growing urban centers. The Colorado and San Antonio Rivers flow through this section of the state and it is along their banks that the cities of Austin and San Antonio have grown.

The capital city of is well known as a huge music scene with a thriving arts community. San Antonio is famous for the Alamo and other Spanish missions and of course its river walk district.

Outside of the cities there is a prospering wine country that is gaining worldwide recognition for the quality of its wine. It is also cattle country, where President Lyndon Johnson’s ranch is now set aside as a national historical park.

This is a region with a little bit of everything and a lot to offer visitors.
