Highlights
Saskatoon is the largest city in the province, home to University of Saskatchewan and is considered the arts and entertainment capital of the province. The city has nine bridges over the South Saskatchewan River and has been nicknamed the “Paris of the Prairies.”
There are certainly things to do and see in and around the city. The Wanuskewin Heritage Park is a national historic site just north of Saskatoon. TCU Place and the SaskTel Center host major arts and concert events. The city is also home to a number of major festivals throughout the summer months.
This is a city that can be a destination or a multi-day stop on the way to some other adventure, but it is a place that is waiting to be explored.
