Highlights
The Susquehanna Valley, between Harrisburg and the Delaware border, is a fairly rural region. It contains Lancaster County, which is home to a large number of Amish and Mennonite farmers and craftsmen. This certainly adds an important element to the region’s charm.
Important tourist destinations include the cities of Harrisburg and Lancaster. The famous Hershey Amusement Park is also a long-standing family attraction.
