Highlights

Saltillo is the capital and largest city in the state of Coahuila. The metropolitan area is just over one million and it is considered the safest capital city in Mexico.

The city is rich in cultural sites, museums and parkland. it is also just a short drive from Cumbres de Monterrey National Park.

The city of Monterrey is just east of the national park. Both destinations can easily be combined and explored in a single trip across the border.
