Rocky Mountain National Park
Planning Tips
Due to the elevation, this alpine region tends to stay relatively cool, so you may not need power at your campsite. I was there in August and I was fine without it.
Don’t forget that Rocky Mountain is a timed entry park. Unless you are camping in the park, you will need to apply for an entry pass or enter prior to 7am.
Bear Lake also requires a timed entry pass even if you are already in the park.
