There are a large number of campgrounds in this area, but bear in mind this is a very popular destination—particularly Banff. Make a reservation.
This itinerary can easily be combined with the BC Southeastern Parks, Glacier and Waterton Lakes, or Writing on Stone itineraries.
Banff and Radium Hot Springs are the two primary municipalities. Both are very tourist oriented and should meet most service and entertainment needs.
